This lil’ bag is a lifesaver for a pup on the go! It attaches to the leash without getting in the way, plus it has a space for a key/cash, etc. its perfect! I’ve had the other leash poo bag holders and they have all cracked or broken off, but this is sturdy material that should never have to be replaced! Plus the bags come out easily and you don’t accidentally pull out three at a time like you do with the plastic holders because they’re more securely pulled out through the rubber opening!

I’ve cycled through plenty of different kinds of poop bag holders before finding this one and am happy my search can stop.
My dog and I run a lot. Sometimes he goes multiple times and sometimes I don’t have even one pocket to carry singular bags. Having a hands free holder that can be attached to a leash makes things easier.
The reason I love this product is due to its lightweight, two velcro attachment, zipper design. What this means is that I am now free of the slight annoyances or deal breakers of previous holders. This Tuff Mutt holder does not bounce all around. It is not heavy. It does not suddenly come open flinging the roll of poop bags to unravel. It does not suddenly fall off entirely either. I can just leave it on my dog’s leash even when not in use, only messing with it when I pull a bag from the side dispenser or opening it up when a roll refill is required.

So. Our old poop bag kinda fell apart. So it was time. I wanted something more durable than the cheap plastic ones. It needed to not pop open. It needed to be easy to load. It needed to be simple to swap out to another leash.
Yeah, I AM asking a lot from a dog poop bag holder, but I am an American dammit and we expect the best – if we landed a man on the moon, is a poop bag holder that doesn’t suck too much to ask for?
That question is answered with this poop bag holder. It zips up. The rubber bag iris is solid plastic that will hold up to use. The bag is well stitched. I holds not one but TWO poop bags. I might have two little Westies and you might think they don’t poop but man, they can poop. No such thing as too many bags.
I like the velcro tabs that attach the bag to the leash. The tabs are generous and hold the low profile bag close to the leash. Zero drag when you are running towards danger, baby. I like how it doesn’t hang and bump…all in all, very streamlined, very compact. The bag DOES feature a plastic d-ring if you really want to eschew the tactical aspects and stealth profile of this bag. I guess you could use it to hold keys or something if you must.

Got this to replace the plastic, dangling, bone shaped dispenser that comes with the first dog starter kit. I like the pouch for a couple of big reasons; that it affixes flush to your leash, and in a pinch I could throw a key or possibly credit card in there.
The pouch holds one roll of real bags–the description says two, but that’s only if you use the kleenex-level roll that they include–with lots of room to spare. I packed a few spare bags for when the roll runs out while on a walk, and I’m looking forward to the day that that pays off.
The dispenser is a bit tough at first. It takes some work to get the first bag fed through, and for the first roll or so it tore the next bag before it passed through the opening. But that has seemingly improved as it’s loosened up a bit with use. The last bag or two of the roll is still a bit tricky though.
All said, a good upgrade to the plastic bone.

Back in 2015 I ordered the Tuff Mutt hands-free leash and still use it today with my service dog. This bag holder arrived today (since my little guy rolled in the Salt River at Tonto National Forest and lost his other one) and I absolutely love this bag! The velcro is sturdy and attaches easily and security to his leash. In addition, the D-ring is a nice option to attach it to my keys. Even better than the product itself is the fantastic customer service. The same day the product was delivered, Tuff Mutt sent me an e-mail with helpful tips, including advice to attach one velcro strap to the handle of his rope leash, and the second strap just below the handle. This works perfectly to keep the bag in one place so it doesn’t slide down. Absolutely love these Tuff Mutt products and look forward to exploring more of them!

This is the second one I’ve bought. I use them to run with my dog. Since they attached in two places they don’t flap around as much. That being said, of you’re not running, a hard sided bag holder will probably last longer.

I love this holder for 2 reasons: 1) it fastens nicely with it’s Velcro onto the plastic holder part of my extended leash, and never gets in my way; 2) the opening the poop bags come out is very nice, and tight so it doesn’t let all the bags come spilling out like every other holder I have tried.
I liked it so much, I bought a second one to have as a backup for other leashes I use, or to put in my purse for emergency situations when I forget the extended leash.

Pros:
• Used daily and it still looks new!
• Velcro flaps stabilize it to the loop of the leash.
– The free plastic kinds jump around and hit my knuckles. Ouch!
• Bags pull out nicely
Con: No space for a back-up bag for when the first roll runs out.
